World Skills Competition is the largest international ‘Vocational Skills Competition’ in the world. It takes place in a different country every two years and is open to competitors up to the age of 22. The competition brings together over 1,000 young people from around 65 countries to compete in more than 40 skills. The competitors pitch their skills against the best of the best and compete for ‘Gold’, ‘Silver’, ‘Bronze’ and ‘Medallion of Excellence’.

Sathish Narayanan has been the expert of the Graphic Design Technology Category of India for the last two world skills competition conducted in Leipzig – Germany in 2013 and also in Sao Paulo – Brazil in August 2015.

He has also been the Chief Expert & Jury – Graphic Design of the World Skills India 2015 competition selecting the best of the competitors for representing India in the World Skills International Competition.

Mr. Sathish’s role as an expert includes mentoring and training to Competitors; develop test projects and marking schemes; and play an absolutely critical role in making World Skills the home of best practice and development.

He was honoured by an award from Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship for outstanding contribution in World Skill India in 2016.
